Tailpieces

Our tailpieces are available two versions; stamped and machined. The stamped version features a sliding cover plate and is a replica of those used on the original F5, A5, F4, and H5 mandolins. For a solid tailpiece, we chose the Bill James design which features a CNC-machined base and hinged cover that snaps shut into two rattle preventers. These come standard with a wriggle-work engraved border or they can be engraved with your name in one of four engraving styles.
