Straight Up Strings is an exciting development in mandolin string technology that features compensated download pressures for the E and G string courses that rest on the saddle near the bridge's posts and the A and D string courses that rest in the middle of the saddle on conventional two-post adjustable bridges. Compensated lateral loading provides excellent string-to-string balance, clarity, and sustain. Our plain and core wires are drawn from the finest grade of nickel-steel wire and our wound strings feature phosphor bronze wrap wire. Straight Up Strings are the ideal solution for a powerful and balanced-sounding mandolin.
